Sock in hose???
My central vac hose has something stuck in it, I think, maybe a sock. I tried to put a long dryer wand down it but the hose is just too long. Does this need a repair man or new hose?? Any idea of a way to blow it out? Thanks.

Just push a longer rod down the hose its the only way to get this out i bet its right at the hover end to and a wire hook may get at it from were the hose gos into the hover bag,(mine gets blocked up there every time)
i use a lenth of welding wire with a hook bent in it but a coat hanger would do if you straiten it out first then bend just the first inch of it so it fits inside the hose
Try putting the hose up to the exhaust of the central vacuum and blow it out.
