Some parts dropped off my 1990 Alfa Romeo Spider fuse box last week. I don't know what they do but everything seems to be working. One looks like a circuit board with a copper coil, labeled Siper HEF4
All of the controls and lights appear to work. At least I think they do.

Relays look just like you described when their cover comes off, does it have 4-5 blade pins on the bottom? That is a relay. Could be for A/C, defroster, power windows, fuel pump, PCM....
yanked it out and the car still starts with no warning lights 5 pins
that relay may be the courtesy light delay relay. Do your interior lights fade 10 seconds after you close your door? Its supposed to be about 2X the height of a normal relay and can get kicked out by your foot if not careful. If everything is working, I would not worry about it as it may be a special relay that Im not familiar with being taller than a Bosch 5 pin.
It may be a relay- try posting a picture of it along with your original message- I don't think you can use 'comment' for this.
Hope this helps. You can see where the circuit board is broken along one side [I hope]
