If you do not have a good disk cleaner, I would suggest you use one. Some disks wont play if the lens has film or dirt. There is a kit you can get at Radio Shack, Best Buy, or even Walmart. It is a wet dry system, couple of drops of alcohol, and you clean your dvd player. It has audio on it and you can follow the directions. They also advise after 10 hours of use to do a disk clean up on your system I also do my CD players too, Also on your PC. Hope this helps.
