SONY BRAVIA KDL-40XBR2 faces look like cartoons
I've had this TV for about 7 years, and about a week ago, I noticed that people's faces started to appear 'cartoonish' or very clay like. The problem is becoming more frequent and now occasionally when there are light colored objects displayed on a darker background (sunsets, or explosions) those images are beginning to appear pixelated. Can anyone give me an idea of what's going on?

Tow possibilities. [1] The LVDS cable (the flat cable that connects between T'Con and LCD panel) loose contact at its connection sockets. Re-insert this very carefully, and check. [2] Fault to T'Con board itself. If so it should be replaced. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.
