Sony ericsson locked to 3 network
My uncle gave me the brand new phone as described above. He told me it was unlocked which I liked because I'm with optus. Now I cant even turn the bloody thing on to get the imei without a usim it tells me! I seriously dont understand. HELP PLEASE

It need to be unlock it is not, so you can try online at topsony.com or take the phone to a mobile service center and have that done.
