Sony Vaio webcam does not work on MSN
Wecam works using the webcam software but won't work with MSN IM. I did have McAfee which came with the machine but uninstalled and run AVG free.

Did you run the webcam configuration on messenger?
if you did then i would contact microsoft to see if it is compatible with your webcam.
