Hi,

I have compaq presario laptop which has 2 sound cards. the sound card brand : Conexant. The problem is that whenever i plug headphone into the sound-out port, the sound comes from both ways. i.e. from headphones and from keypad sound (altec lansing speakers) also.

is it possible to stop the sound from laptop speakers after plugging the headphone?

please help.
