sound port that I had to plug into the motherboard. Im positive I plugged them into the correct spots but the sound went away. even after I unplugged the front usb stuff and made sure tings were exactlty the way the were before the sound still hasnt come bacl

1. Go to device manager, see if there is no yellow question mark, and ensure the sound device type appears to ensure all drivers are installed.
2. Do you see any volume icon on the taskbar? And check the volume level.
