Sound problem When I plug my speakers into the sound port I get a few random notes and a bunch of crackling... What do I do? All my drivers should be up to date. I just checked them tonight
Those noises indicate that there's a brake in the sound signal path. Try using another pair of speakers (or headphones) if it's the same then the problem is in the connector - the metal clamps are bent out of shape. This cannot be fixed, that connector is lost. Plug the speakers in another connector and assign it as the mail one from the Realtek audio Control Panel.
