Sound through one channel only.....NAD 310 Amplifier
Hi Guys,
I basically have perfect sound through one channel only. The speakers and cd player are perfectly fine with another amp all in stereo, so no setup issues here.
Im no expert but it doesnt sound too major, hopefully fixable. I bought the amp second hand so cant say of its history.
Thanks alot folks!!

If swapping of left and right input sources and left and right speakers does not help...you might have a bad channel in your amp.
yes, it can be fixed by a qualified technician. If you done electronics before I might be able to help with a logical approach...or else you need to smell some resins...oppsss joke only :-)
My first requirement for you is to get a shematic diagram (at least even a similar one will do). Since your other channel is working, it seems there is no dc voltage present in that bad channel or else it will trigger the speaker protector circuitry and cut-off the speakers' connection for both channels.
Try to see if it has a fuse in the output or somewhat like a thermal cut-out device. You can also put a voltmeter in AC mode right at the output line of the bad channel amp. Put an input source and try to see if a signal is present in the output. If there is then a fuse or a device before the output to the speakers is in between it.
Please update me on this. you can email me directly at [email protected]
hope this helps..
