Spilled liquid on laptop keyboard, banged on laptop, not working
Spilled liquid on keyboard of laptop. instead of letting dry, turned laptop on/off continuously. got pissed when screen came on and was jumbled, banged laptop hard. now laptop starts up with whirring sound and air blowing from side with black screen. laptop has sat for months with same whirring and air black screen. is there any hope? just get new laptop?

Wow, a little restraint next time :).. My thinkpad was dropped into a hottub let it sit for two weeks and everything except the M key worked.
Anyway I can tell you it's not worth your time, pull the Harddrive out go to tigerdirect get a brand new laptop for around 300-500$ and get a 25$ EIDE (or SATA if so equiped) to USB adapter so at least you can get your documents and what not from the old system..
