Yes, its the bearings,, if your at all confident, then you can change yourself, dismantle of the machine is easy and self explanatory as you go, once apart, drum removed, undo spindle on back, remove it, split the drum , knock through the spindle , there's your bearings in back of drum, you need a few bits of timber to keep off floor, knock out rear bearing first from inside of drum, then turn over and remove inner with seal,, to put back in, use the old bearings to knock new in, as you dont want to damage new ones,, remember only hit outer edge when fitting them,, take your time, your be fine,
