Spring keeps breaking on mower deck belt tighener
In the deck assembly pitcure for the 46" 13AN771H729 the spring is #36 ,maybe i am installing it wrong. The drawing does not show where to connect it (51-51)?I have broke three,please help.

I would try getting a stonger spring but the same length as the orriginal spring. The spring still needs to have enough tension to pull the pully back, if you get one that dosn't have as much tension it wont pull the pully tight enought.
