Squealing noises stem from the belt slipping. If you have a belt that's shaped like a "V"when viewed on a cross-section, then you simply need to tighten the belt. If you have the serpentine belt, which is most common on today's vehicles, then you need to troubleshoot a touch, but it's still pretty simple. The most common problem is a faulty battery, or a large drain on the battery when it's sitting overnight. What happens, is the alternator provides more resistance to turning when it has to charge more, so sometimes the belt will slip when it's in high charge. You can test between the battery by unhooking it overnight, and hooking it up again in the morning. If it squeals again that morning, have the battery checked; it may be going bad. The other thing that can cause this, or at bare minimum, contribute to it, is the tensioner. If the tensioner isn't providing the correct tension anymore, then it can allow the belt to slip. Either way, the problem won't be expensive unless it's an electrical problem that's draining your battery overnight. Hope this helps you out.
