SS-5000 Clock Radio will not recognize EST
SS-5000 Clock Radio will not recognize Eastern Savings Time. It continues to show one hour behind actual. If I add an hour manually it soon resets itself back to one hour behind. I have installed all new batteries and relocated the remote sensor.

When you press the "mode" button you should reach a setting which gives you alternative time settings.
One should be something like "EST".
Select this setting and all should be OK.
