SSB mode has a high dead key. I had null-afied this in the past by direction of a Galaxy tech over the phone by adjusting VR6. It worked for a while, and then I left my CB alone for a few months due to DXers being the only mail I can read in this location. The problem is back. When the RF power knob is turned fully up, I get a high dead key reading on SSB (with out speaking). This reading is on the radio's built in meter as well as on my Radio shack SWR/Power meter. I noticed that in the modulation setting the meter acts the same way. Also, on a side note, I've noticed that the frequency's final digit drops to a 2 when I transmit on any mode, and comes back up to 5 when receiving.
