Stalling in cold weather
I have a 93 Eagle Vision ESI 3.3 V6. While the car is running, the cruse light on the dash will come on and the car stalls. while the light is on the engine will turn over but not start. When the cruse light goes off the car will start. This only happens in cold weather. I have gone as far as pulling the fuse for the curse control and this has no effect. Rain is not an issue either, just the cold. Most times I can turn the key off, wait a few seconds and the car will start and run fine, lately thats not the case, the cruse light is almost always on now. Any ideas?

The on board computer does not show the error code using the MIL (check engine light ) In my case the fault is in the crankshaft sensor. Had to get the car to a shop to read the OBD1 port to find the error. Replaced the sensor and everything is good. Found out a fault in the cam sensor will cause the same strange issue with the cruise light.
