Hi, my name is ray, i have posted a question about a problem with my tv lately and i also checked with a site for a few common problem's and one of them was, if your tv is stuck on standby, and solution was D803 was found to be dry and what that mean's is, the solder was dry and loose on one of the circuit board's inside your tv. Now you can have a look yourself, i will explain what you need to do to find out if that is what your tv's problem is, Take the back off your tv set, the circuit board's are green with a lot of little component's attached to them (the component's kind of look like little batteries), they are attached with solder (look's like a little blob of silver glue) check if any of the solder's are cracked or un-connected, if so that is likely to be your problem. You can purchase a soldering iron and rod's from any tool store, there will be instruction's on how to use. i really hope i have helped with your problem, be CAREFULL and GOOD LUCK.
