Standby switch no longer turns receiver on or off; must do it manually on the receiver. The Volume control is now reversed: when you press the UP ARROW, the volume decreases; when the DOWN ARROW is pressed, the volume increases. All other functions seem to be working fine. I have selected the Receiver Remote Mode, reset the receiver, installed fresh batteries. Any ideas?

Hello, the most used buttons can wear out over time. On/standby and volume are the ones that are used most often. I suggest purchasing a new remote. It is available at shoponkyo.com. Thank you, Onkyo USA
