Starting issue with 2005 ford taurus
Car starts but occasionally it tends to give me trouble by just turning over and not starting. I then wait a second and I try again, it turns over consistenly without slowing down and this time i press the gas pedal once and it starts. Car has 38000 miles on it and i just changed the fuel filter. Could it be a sign that the battery is about to die? or just a loose cable? i need suggestions, thanks!

It sounds like to me that you mite have a bad fuel injector.... try running motor and 1 by 1 unplug each injector harness pluging it back in after each check.. no more than 1 off at a time a good injector slows the motor noticably.. a bad one when un plugged chanes nothing at all..hope this helps
