Starting Problem I have a 2012 tao tao scooter and I have a couple problems with it. 1st off when I try to use the electric start it will not start and it will not even attempt to start it, so I have to kick start it each time. 2nd my brake light will not work. I have tried 3 bulbs and it did not help it, my turn signals work just fine, but when I hit my brake the brake light does come on. please help

The start problem sounds like a battery conncetion issue that is where i would start
ok im working on getting the brake light to work i ran a new wire from the brake in front to the tail light and it will work but the running light will not stay on, if i connect the wire a diff way the running light stays on but when i pull the brakes it dims im confused
