Starts water cycle then stops
Washing machine starts to add water for about 15 seconds then stops. drain pipe cleaned. Belt is fine. Can hear clicking as though it wants to go through cycle but doesn't do anything.

Probably needs new carbon brushes in motor.
Just checked brushes and they were fine.
Had success though.
A solder joint that was bad on a relay terminal on the PCB on a Bosch WFL2400au washing machine.
Symptom was no motor spin on either wash or spin cycle and could always hear relay click when it tries to go through the process.
I checked brushes but they were fine.
That saved a replacement part as in this thread. It is now 9 years old and going strong
