Ok... if using winxp press ctrl, alt and delete keys together to bring up task manager select processes tab and find out in the cpu column what program is using high number (percentage) in cpu column. That is the program that is causing it, if you don't know what the program is by the name of file let me know and will be happy to further assist you.
also.....if you are using vista press ctrl, alt and delete together and select task manager....then follow the same instructions as above.
This is a valid program but it is not required to run on startup.
This program is not required to start automatically as you can run it when you need to. It is advised that you disable this program so that it does not take up necessary resources.
To disable this tool below is really easy to use and can stop this program from running at startup.
There's a good chance you have a trijan, assuming you have an antivirs programme, run it in safe mode (F8 on startup and enter using safe mode), use the administrator account to log into windows, and then go to my computer icon, right click>properties>system restore tab, then turn off system restore.(viruses and trojans have a back up in system restore)
Run anti virus programme, restart pc then turn system restore back on
If you don't have an anti virus/spyware you can get a free download with free updates here, (choose the avg free download)
