With the unit unplugged...try sticking the steamer in a tall glass of water & vinegar mix (equal parts) and let it soak for a couple hrs. then take and fill the machine w/plain water and put the carafe under like you would if you were making a cappuccino...and let it run a few times. you may also need to take a pin and put it in the end of the steam tube if it doesn't unclog. i've had this happen a couple times on this unit. i've owned it for 5 yrs and it's still going strong.
