Stiletto2 sometimes has static while playing mp3's from exp. card
My sirius stiletto 2 is about 4 mo. old. While playing mp3 for over an hour, a crackle type static develops. Happens on different songs and several sets of ear buds.
It goes away after I put stiletto to sleep and power right back up.
It happens once for every 3-4 hours of listening. If I don't power down the sound will continue. Nothing really consistent about when it happens.
Could it be the mp3 card, stiletto 2 unit or corrupted data on the card?
I have direct replacement warranty, should I return it for another stiletto 2?

I also own a Stiletto 2 and I have noticed this same problem, but only when playing MP3's in my car. What I have found is that if the volume on the Stilletto is too high it creates distortion. The solution is to turn down the volume on the actual Stilletto and just use the volume on the car stereo. Problem solved everytime.
