Still dont know hot to get height adjuster knob to work. tried handle all the way back n lay on side solution that was offered. the plate has a permanent place to sit. hows it possible to bring knob
The plate is not the the one removed to clean roller right? the plate i forced off to see the knob is the plate directly under knob. plz help. gets awfully yucky w/o vacuum!

Hey, not having a working height adjustment can be a bear. Lock the vacuum in the upright position, change the knob to desired setting, and recline the handle for adjustment to occur.
