Did you ever clean the printer completly and offten?
Try first this: Use paper path cleaner (sold in most office supply stores) follow its directions and see if this solves the issue. There may be ome dried toner that is causing this jam.
If this does not work you may need to replace the conductor IF AND ONLY IF this unit was used passed 7 years. Color laser printers, like everything else, has parts that may wear. You may need to replace certain parts if they are not runing well.
First try to clean the paper path and see if this resolves the issue. If it does please keep this unit clean once a week. Remember the older a unit gets the more care you need to give it.
1) see if your carrage is moving in your printer: This is a color laser printer hear if the carosel is moving so that the toner cartriges are getting to the paper, if not moving you need to replace the carosel
2) If you are using remanufatured toner, that is VERY bad for this printer. You may have been getting away with it for some time but now it does make the toner indicator not work.
Epson places microchips on all their toner and ink cartriges. When they are empty sometimes their microships that indicate an empty toner/cartrige just blows out or dies a long death.
When it dies a long death, then it starts to behave like an empty toner, printing blank pages or certain colors will not work.
Try 2 things: Open or listen for carosel to see if it is moving at all and buy new toner to test for defective or remanufatured toner installed.
Let me know if this works ok?
