stuck in anti-theft
Someone recently replaced my door. Afterwards the car wouldn't start and remote key wouldn't response to anything. I changed fuse #14 and the car started and drove for a couple days. The remote key, however still didn't work. I decided to check all of the fuses and after doing so, my car alarm decided to go off when I tried to start the car. Now it seems to be stuck in anti-theft mode. I've tried to reprogram the remote several times and disconnected the battery to do a capacitive discharge. No luck...

My car, 2000VWPassat, is doing exactly the same thing as of Wednesday April 7, 2010. The dealer has been looking at it for 6 hours and they said they have absolutely no clue what is happening. They are elevating it to an "engineer".
