Subwoofer pushing out problem
My husband and his friend installed stereo ,amp, subwoofer last year. Two weeks ago all of the sudden I noticed I wasn't thumpin'. I made sure wires didn't get hit and pushed off (kinda wiggled them too) fuses aren't blown . It worked for a few minutes and then quit again and still not working and no one has time to look at it. Is there something I can actually do fix it? I have 2 12" subs in the back. I noticed after a friend drove the car that all bass stopped. The fuse on the mtx amp was blown. I replaced it and one sub works just fine and the other seems to buldge out when on. Like its pushing out. When it goes off it goes back. I disconnected it for now. Is it blown?

It sounds like one channel in your amp had shorted and letting dc go to the speaker...a speaker is an electromagnet and requires ac to make it pulse..the amp has a blown channel and would have to be repaired and a factory service center...there is no quick fix..
