Sumbody help please. I got a 90 Acura Integra. the car recently
Started while warmed up, the tack drops to zero and i lose power, then i get the power back, and the it drops to zero again. Eventually the engine shuts down and i have to pull over. One the car cools down it will start up and i can drive it again. Then it warms up and does it again. It has been getting progressively worse over the last few days. someone took the coverter off and cleaned it all out and that didn't work. Any suggestions. other than the distributor that was replaced last august? Thanks

Same thing happen to my car, it was the distributor. FIRST CHECK YOUR PLUG WIRES TO YOUR DISTRIBUTOR BECAUSE ONE OF MY FACTORY WIRE DOES NOT HAVE A GOOD FIT. THE LACK OF CONNECTION BURNED OUT THE METAL CONNECTOR IN THE WIRE. I REPLACE WITH PERFORMANCE PLUG WIRES.
I would look towards you ignition system,as the tach, distributor and ignition coil are all tied together, have the coil and the ignition module checked first.Hope this helps
