Syncing data from my laptop to a new m500
I had a Palm Z22 that I used and synced to my Vista laptop using the Palm OS 6.2.2
It "died" as all Palms seem to do after 2 years and I was unable to locate another of this model to buy. I found an m500 and purchased it. When I do the sync, nothing gets tranferred to the handheld. I have tried the settings to have "desktop overwrites handheld" and I've also tried the settings just to sync. Nothing gets transferred, even though it does recognize my account name. What to do?

The sync software of your Palm Z22 and the M500 could be different.
The M500 should have its own sync software. If you're going to use the sync software of the Palm Z22 with your M500, it may or may not work due to the incompatibility.
Uninstall the old sync software from the computer, and install the sync software that came with your M500.
Check the user manual of your M500, and see if it's compatible with Vista.

You have to uninstall that palm desktop 6.2.2 and install palm desktop 4.1.4. it is the one that works well with your palm m500. you may get it from here.
