Syncrowave 250 dx fan not comming on
I have a syncrowave 250 dx that is welding fine but I think the on demand fans are not working and am afraid to push it to long to find
out. for fear of toasting the welder. If the fix is to expensive (board replacment). Can i just plug the fans into a separate supply to be on
constantly.I think the are 220V but not sure.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

I have a Miller XMT304 in for repair at the moment and it will run full load (250A) on a load bank for 5 minutes before the fan comes on. By the way the fan is 24v DC. I couldn't be sure but your fan may be similar
Hope this helps.
If it is a newer machine (newer than maybe 2002?), then it's "Fan on Demand". There may be nothing wrong with your machine.
