System freezes when mouse put on charging module
When I put the mouse (Verbatim Model 96677) on it's charging module, my system freezes up. I am running Windows XP Professional. Sometimes I can resolve this by removing the cord of the recharging module from the USB port and replugging it in, other times I need to completely reboot the PC.

If this charging module came with software that you have installed on your computer, than try uninstalling that software and rebooting your computer. Next reinstall the software and reboot again. The installation may have been corrupted. If this does not solve the problem than see if there is software similar to this that is causing conflict with your module.
