Keep tapping the F8 key while you boot your machine, hopefully you will get a black screen with some white writting on it.
Using the up and down arrows select Boot Safe Mode without Networking.
Once you boot into safe mode go to programs>accessories>system tools>system restore and follow the wizard to restore your machine back to a time and date before you installed the modem software.
In StartUp, disable (not delete) everything except:
ctfmon.exe
nod32kui
Now go to www.malwarebytes.org and download the free version of malwarebytes and run it on your machine.
Malwarebytes is one of the best malware scanners on the market at the moment, if you have any nasties (I notice you use utorrent) malwarebytes will get rid of them.
There is nothing wrong with utorrent its the **** that comes with it is the problem.
Do me a favour, contact me via email. I think you need to run a different type of scan on your machine and here is not really the place to deal with it.
