System wont boot
My system wont boot, turn it on and it gets to the Windows XP screen and reboots, its a constant loop. Even in safe mode. I have run chkdisk and repaired any errors, does this mean my hard drive is bad or could their be another explanation?

I have the same problem and it isn't your hard drive. I used two separate hard drives to test the theory. The first was bsod'ing at windows boot screen. Tried a repair and a clean install. It got so far as loading windows and died (no bsod). Used another brand new hard drive and did a clean install, it gets to the loading of windows and reboots. Both drives work like champs in other setups. If someone solves ur problem please post. Hope I helped narrow your issue some.
I would slave the drive into another system revmove the data off it that i want to keep and then repartishion the drive and do a fresh install.
