Tamron 75-300mm lense quit focusing??
My lense worked fine last week, then I put it on my D50 Nikon as usual and it won't focus! My smaller lense works. Anyone know of anything that may have gotten changed on my camera to make this happen? I already checked everything I knew to check like autofocus, please help I am on vacation and can't get my great pictures!!

Check you have not switched camera t manual focus...if it's on auto then try changing various focal lengths to see if it kicks in....if it does intermittently you may have a cracked flex cable...this eventually happens with long throw lens because the cable gets weaken as it stretches and closes.It is also possible the ribbon became dislodged at the Circuit board just behind the mount.
