I removed the overflow switch and took it to be tested. It was not defective. I replaced it and waited a few days and the dehumidifier worked for about 12 hours and is now not working. The repairman where I took the switch said there was another problem, not the switch. I feel the switch might be erratic. Thanks for your help.
