Targus Laser Presentation Remote USB receiver mutes my MacBook Air, leaving the mute symbol in the screen, making the remote useless for presentations. Is there a solution for this?
When I plug in the USB receiver for the Targus Laser Presentation Remote into my new MacBook Air, the volume goes to mute, the mute symbol appears and stays on the screen, and iTunes opens and starts to play. This occurs regardless of whether the actual remote is on or off, or what settings i adjust on the remote. The problem starts when the usb receiver is plugged in, and goes away when the usb is taken out of the computer.
