TE-72 sporadic hammer
I have a te-72, using it with a digging spade. It seens to run a little sporadic, meaning that it seems to not hammer 100 % of the time like it should, like maybe at a 50 % kick intermitantly. I pulled it apart to look for anything obvious. Looks oiled and was wondering how much oil should be in the gear box and if so how much and what kind.

Hi i am busy with also a te72,and repaired the conrod. But now i like to fill it with oil . Just 70 is not a lot? The gear parts were greased ,and i only found traces of oil. Where do i put the oil ,because when paured in the shaft upon the hammer piston in front of the driven piston,the oil just comes out where the gears are?
You should have no more than 70cc of oil in the housing. AW46 Hydraulic fluid will work.
