TEC 572M barcode pot stake printer is stuck with the error "Head Open" even though it is closed. We have removed and replaced the stakes and shut the power on and off and still have the error and can not get it to do anything else

The head open is generated when the small microswitch on the left of the print head is damaged. Either you change with a new one or shunt it.
