Technics sl-p555. when a disc is inserted you can hear the laser trying to read the disc but the disc stays still unless helped along by hand and then it will spin slowly then speed up till it gets to the required speed to actually play the disc then it will work fine until you next change the disc. i've swapped disc mechanisms out of an sl-p777 and an sl-ps70 which are in perfect working order and the problem persists so i know that no part of the mechanism is faulty so i've narrowed the fault down to the main PCB. maybe a power supply fault? any help gratefully received. thanks.
