Technics SL1600 Turntable auto start problem
When I start the player the arm lifts and goes all the way to the center and drops instead of starting at the beginning of the record. I tried using the adjusting screw but it didn't solve the problem.

From the pictures I have seen there's a 7 10 12 button, setting it to 12 should make it move to the start of an LP.
If it doesn't it seems there are a lots of video about this turntable on YouTube, here's one that shows the autostart.
