My TX was purchased from a 3rd party without the CD that it comes with in the package. For some reason, the Hot Sync cable won't work with my laptop. I used to have a Palm Zire 31 which originally syched with my laptop. I have tried to download software several times from online to hotsynch it, but to no avail. Can you help?

I had the same problem with my TX. When I moved, I lost the CD. I think what you have to do is contact Palm to get a replacement CD. It might be a small charge for it, but the drivers are on that CD and that will make it work.
Are you using Vista at all?
