AS SOON AS IT GET JUMPED WHICH IT NEEDS A JUMP TO START THEN IT STAY RUNNING FOR A LITTLE SECOND AND THEN IT STARS JERKING AND STOPS.AS SOON AS YOU TRY TO PUT IT IN GEAR IT SHUTS OFF..SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME..

This will happen due to low battery power,if you think about it .your battery has a lot of work to do .when going to start the engine.it needs power to your starter,it needs power to the ECU the cars brain.the trouble is you can get arcing of the contacts in your ECU due to a bad battery .so not doing servicing which would show this up is doing a lot of damage.so if you have a battery over 4 years old, then change it.and check the output of your alternator ,it should read 14 amp.
Hi Dottie,remove battery,take to Walmart in the automotive,they will test for free,I get my batteries from there.Your battery is real week,mine was too,got it from Walmart,a 5 year warranty,it lasted 6 years and 3 months.Got another,called ever-start.
