The bios chip,if removed,wich way does it go back in?and if it was put back in upsidedown,and the power turned back on,would it be damaged?..thank you,michael and can i use another one from a different pc?

Look at the chip one corner will be cut off and look at the pins if they are bent you have to straighten them first if you powered it up and did not have it in the right way it may have destroyed the chip. The pins have one corner missing on the chip and on the chip socket you will see it has one pin missing in the corner. also you need to use the dielectric grease on the heat sink before installing the fan or it will overheat the chip good luck hope this helps.
