The car would not start, so i took battery in to have it checked. They said it would not fully charge and i bought a new battery. I put the new battery in and nothing happens. No lights , no indicator lights nothing. I was checking all the fuses but all seem to be ok
You definately have a bad connection on the battery cables, either they are corroded at the battery cable postsa nd need a scraping or they are corroded or loose at the chasis ground bolt. Check your connections very carefully, sounds like a dirty or loose ground cable. Quick and simple test to ground....take a test light....put the little alligator clip to the positive battery cable, now touch the pointed tip to the ground cable end, should light up if OK ground...wont light up if ground is bad(loose, dirty, corroded, etc.)tighten, clean or replace as neccessary. Happy Motoring!!
