Hi. Have you determined that it is actually the gearbox that is faulty. I have had a few brake solenoids that can cause this sort of problem. The centre of the brake can strip out or the brake coil can short or burn out. This makes the brake assembly get very hot. The resistance through the brake coil, should be about 50 ohms. If you raise the driving wheels off the ground, and operate the machine, will it drive both motors or only one, or does it display a fault code? I will find out if gearbox parts are available. Neil.
