The easiest way would be to buy a new part because if you retrieve the old one it will probably fall inside again. If you want the old one you usually push the two clips under the front of the top lid about four inches from each side. Then there are two screws inside of the front to take out and the front should pop off. Be sure to unplug the dryer first.
