Report "The controller was getting very hot. When I got home I removed the top to find the -battery wire insulation melted into the strands of wire. I cut the wire back a couple of inches to clean wire as well as the + wire to match length and installed new clips. I put the red positive the it's terminal and the black negative to it's terminal and now it runs backwards. I double checked the wiring. Was it wired wrong from the beginning to compensate for lower end wiring?"
