The date and time are changing by themselves
I have owned this Tissot T Touch for about 15 months now and just the other day, the hands started spinning out of control and the time would set itself. Also the date would change to a date many months in the past. While this is happening, there is nothing I can do to stop it. The altitude display is also stuck on -200 m and the temperature is a constant 9 degrees (although it's summer in Japan). Does my watch just need a new battery, or is this a symptom of a greater problem? Thank you very much in advance for considering this problem.

I had the problem with locking on chrono function. Then I decide to replace battery, after replacement watches become crazy, hands were moving all the time, it was impossible to stop it. I remove the battery and leave watches on the table for 5-6 days, then install the battery again. No problem any more, all functions are available. May be you have the same kind of problem. Good luck!
